Actually it no longer is and if you talk to most shops they will tell you the date has been moved and no one knows what it is yet.

Other than being poorly trimmed at the edge on LP1 (like a saw blade with shavings peeling) it plays with minimal to no surface noise (haven't even cleaned it yet). I was honestly surprised looking at all that silly glitter but it sounds just fine in... See full review

Captures the true RATM energy and passes the head bobbing test. Better than I expected. No issues with the vinyl either. Glad I picked it up.

The best medium for audio will be endlessly debated. Personally I love it all if it reproduces music I want to hear. This set makes a strong case for vinyl because it shows with the right source and cut, vinyl can knock you out of your chair with how... See full review

Not an entirely clean sound but rather very raw and dynamic. The imaging is off the charts. Well worth picking up and I wish they would do more of the catalog. If you're looking for a more polished sound then the late 90's remasters might suit you better. See full review

Already sold out/discontinued. These may be a wide release but only in limited quantities.

Elusive Disc and Rough Trade UK's pre-orders for De La Soul is Dead and 3 ft are already sold out. Amazon has Dead for pre-order but their track record with filling pre-orders this past year has been really bad. Gotta love flippers and fomo.

First introduction to this album was of course on cassette back in the day when Waiting Room was all the rage. Honestly this sounds really good and is a nice clean pressing. I'd say MPO got it right with this one. Got it direct from Dischord for cheap.

So I hit both LP's with some heavy ultrasonic treatment and I can say they do sound really good. This 45 is a great cut with a nice thick sound. Hopefully the upcoming run gets better QC than this one did.

Mediocre at best. Completely lacking in the excitement and electricity that can be heard in an original Bearsville. Requires some real volume to open up but even when it does it's unable to fill the room. I really have no idea what Mofi thought they... See full review

First copy and both LP's are defective. Serious bummer for a super limited run. How can they miss this with only 1000 copies pressed?

So got my copy from Rough Trade UK yesterday. Sparkle LP has large piece of debris so thick it pokes through both sides and the green LP is covered in scratches. Pretty bummed. They said they will ask about a replacement from the supplier but probably... See full review

Thanks man. There seems to be a supply chain problem here in the states and few if any retailers have gotten any by the 4/30/21 release date. I went ahead and ordered from Rough Trade UK and will hold onto my Amazon preorder just to see what happens.... See full review

Amazon has said "currently unavailable" for the last three days. I preordered when this was announced and there is no estimated date.

They're pressed by MRP, not really sure if or how GZ is actually involved. The main issues I see are dimples and some warpage due to being placed into the gatefold too soon. The vinyl itself is very low noise and if you can get a flat one with minimal... See full review

The more I hear it, the more I like this cut, the bass is well articulated and it has a nice big sound stage. I exchanged my first copy for another due to a warp and dimples in the vinyl and the replacement is near flawless and sounds like it.... See full review

A little bit of surface noise in places but overall a much better cut than Holy Diver in the 2021 series. There's an actual low end and it gets more dynamic with more volume. If "Greg" had cut Holy Diver in this same manner I would have given it a far... See full review

Cleanly pressed and nice packaging but the overall cut is seriously lacking in dynamics. The soundstage is incredibly narrow for most tracks and the only way to get any bass is to be seated exactly in the sweet spot, forget about off axis listening.... See full review

Very dynamically cut low end. Sounds good. Looks like a hidden United pressing but maybe they at least tried harder on this one. Comes in a poly-lined sleeve and very thin cover so shelf-life of sealed copies should be good.

The best way I would describe this cut is crisp, articulate and harmonic. Nothing is lost or wasted. I suppose those best acquainted with the original UK Plum (got a clean one) might not like it but for me it takes the album to another level.... See full review

This is for sure pressed by Memphis Record Pressing. Midnight Marauders was pressed by MRP with catalog title MRP0104 and that would put this as being pressed in 2015. Compare the matrix numbers. Whomever created this entry cut and pasted from the... See full review

As compilations go, the sound quality on this is solid and with legends like Tribe, BDP, Schoolly D, Too Short you can't go wrong. The bass has a deep warm boom, voices sound alive and the analog synths really sound analog. None of that sterile... See full review

What is the point of having the best mastering and cut if you can't press a clean and flat record? You guys need to get it together or take a break. GZ vinyl's quality control is now better than yours and this is no exaggeration.

A couple raised bumps on side two of LP 1, otherwise clean and flat pressings with a nice dynamic sound. It's a sad day when GZ can press better records than RTI.

If you're selling a sealed copy, you can't prove or assume it's this pressing. It's more likely an NRP RE-3 which Walmart and Amazon are currently selling. Buyer beware.

Best I've heard for a vinyl version. It has the top end and mid-range clarity that the RE-3 NRP cut severely lacks. This cut sounds open whereas the NRP sounds dark and congested by comparison. It also sounds as though it has fuller bass and actually... See full review

Just an FYI. If someone tells you they have a sealed copy then there is no way to confirm that it's actually yellow vinyl. There are no external markings to tell you what's inside. The best you could do is "opened to confirm yellow vinyl".

Haven't listened to the live tracks much but the main LP sounds great. No clipping or phantom distortions and the more you crank it the better it sounds. Great imaging and solid vocal saturation.
