ok so i know all tracks have been released before but this is actually a very well sequenced record. It made me smile. Not much to smile about these days so that's a win

Rebecca Vasmant isn't the vocalist. There are 4 vocalists on this, none of whom are her. For the record, I really liked the record

This is what you call a grower. Late night, a bit chill, a bit dreamy, a bit pensive, a bit reflective. I've liked it better each time I've played it

What an interesting musician Jesse Hackett is. This sounds like nothing else, it defies easy description. It won't be for everyone, but give it a listen, you might well be delighted. I think its great

This really grows on you. At first listen I was unsure, but after a few more plays, it might be another of those 2020 missed gems

I used to have a 1978 UK vinyl release of this - lost in a move - in Gray vinyl, but it also came with a 7 inch single of "Come Back Johnny" in a picture sleeve, and also a Devo badge. Anyone seen that?

If this had not have been released so late in 2020 it would have been in everyone's Top 10 and a strong contender for album of the year if it wasn't for Sault. Slow, brooding, sultry its carefully and precisely recorded with thought going into every... See full review

So I was listening to Side A, and suddenly the bass drops and it goes all shadowy, dark, vague and depressing. I said to my gf, its almost like this is a Burial remix. And it is! A Burial remix which is such a statement of what Burial is, that it's... See full review

So I am more focused on music than technical flaws in the pressings. BUT - I was playing this to a bunch of friends tonight and they were all "is there something wrong with your needle"? . Sides C, D... surface noise is insane

Looks like being one of the best records of 2020. Nubya Garcia is really expanding the depth and breadth of her playing and her compositions. Seriously good. Very pretty green splattered vinyl too

I originally ordered from Bandcamp, but they cancelled and refunded me. I am not sure if it was this version of the record or the white version, so worth checking with them

This is again a quite extraordinary record. Almost everything International Anthem puts out is outstanding, and manages to sound like almost nothing else.

This captures Pharoah at perhaps his most inspired. Its a wonderful record, and a wonderful sounding record. When he bawls "Love Is Everywhere" you know he is trying to will it to be so

Something wrong with this pressing. I have to run up the speed to over 34RPM for it to sound even half decent but it still sounds as though its a cassette being played on a player running out of batteries. No - its not my equipment. It just sounds awful

2019 was such a vintage year that we are already into the second quarter of 2020 and I am still listening to 2019 releases for the first time. And this one was worth the wait. Cleanly percussive soundscapes, ambient yet driving and purposeful. Its really good See full review
