Good question. First German pressing came out with pink rim (palm tree) Island labels, but if it's from '71. or '73. I am not able to claim.

Please remove Bugsy (Dwight Grant) from credits. He wasn't participant on this album. Wasn't even born back then.

Missing Vinyl reissue isn't such a rarity, doesn't have any other particular feature to pump up the price. It's 25€ worth, like the most of the recent reissues.

There's no single second of "funk/soul" musical genres to be heard on this album. Those who tag this as such probably have never listened to this album, or any proper "funk" or "soul" album either.

Why this US Discwasher release is labeled as reissue here? It might be an unofficial release, but sure it's genuine first US release.

This is only a cassette number two from a 4 cassette complete release, which is contributed correctly. Not sure were they sold as apart units.

Australian Astor originals have crispier and louder sound compared to UK/French ones. They are better pressed too.

Why such albums are listed here as a part of artists' regular albums discographies? These are obviously compilated recordings by various artists.

I've compared this with US stereo copy (checked out by stereo cartridge/stylus though). UK mono sounds louder and somewhat sharper (better to my ears). Lack of evident mix differences in sound makes me think it's folded down from regular stereo mix... See full review

I've posted my comment before someone has edited release. It was contributed first as a genuine later pressing. I've read it very carefully before I was commenting.

100% true. They all sound digital and sterile compared with their genuine 70's records.

There's no evidence of any release of Praeternatural album prior to this. Frankly, I don't believe it was even recorded prior to this release. It sounds digital.

Not really...German Freak Out release contain "Help, I'm Rock" and "Return of the Son of Monster Magnet". German version is just compilated, shortened version of a US original release. Here, on Harumi album, they've excluded sides 3 and 4 completely.

It looks like this version was contributed twice at the Discogs' release page. Doubtful if this is an US pressing. Labels clearly say it's licensed.

Doesn't have an US pressing look. In fact, the label text clearly says it's licensed.

Why did they decide to release this album in Germany as a single one, and not as a double, as originally released in USA? Same happened to Mothers of Invention debut Freak Out (Verve too)...?
Most probably some mundane budget/distribution reasons.
