Johnette: amazing voice and killer bassist. James: terrific guitarist. Drummers varied and all complemented the other two.
Their songs were strong and powerful and the production was always on point. Their live performances sounded even better than... See full review

A voice like many few. Powerful, elegant and always enchanting. A unique talent indeed. <3

Moody, tragic and gloomy, yet always sincere, AMC are just the right kind of dire for a quiet afternoon alone or heading down an open road doing 60. Their music always makes me feel like I'm Eitzel's confidant - listening to his stories of woe or a... See full review

Blissful trip hop. The production is layered and creative with various contributions from vocalists of all sorts. They're more than trip hop really and what they produce is very unique. Great stuff.

The quintessential hip hop group. There are a few that hold up to the genius that ATCQ were. Perfect vocals, great lyrics and excellent production. RIP Phife. Long live ATCQ!

Amazing electronica. There are very few artists that can make your body as happy as your mind like 808 State can. Very innovative and just plain fun. Lovely.

Simply put: one of the greatest UK bands in the history of music. Writing, performing - whatever. I'd put them up there with the Beatles Zep, Stones, et al. One of the best live bands I've ever seen and I last saw them in 2016. Brilliant.

A brilliant band with three terrific albums filled with gorgeous vocals, sublime guitar and a killer rhythm section. The first two produced by the legendary Ray Shulman have more of the dreampop sound while their third and final album was more laid... See full review

Morphine were one of the most unique acts in the history of music. Combining deep, smooth vocals, jazzy/bluesy drumming and the sexiness of all kinds of saxophones, Morphine created music that sounded like nothing before it or even after. Mark Sandman... See full review

If you're a fan of the Boston Boom of the 90's or really great power pop I highly recommend The Cavedogs. Great tunes with some seriously catchy hooks and clever lyrics. Great live band. They now and then do reunion shows in Boston. They didn't get a... See full review
