Indeed, I'm sure it'll please some - for me though it's just a bit too hard to disconnect the Corona vocal from the high street meat market style venues it was played in back then.

A lack of quality control was probably not the best way to put it.... See full review

This is the first TW release where I'm not feeling any of the tracks at all.

Much like Rozalla was on TW6 to others, Corona is my limit. Corona was always cringy europop cheese to me, and it wouldn't matter what backing track you used, or how... See full review

Well, as explained in my review above, I've never been a fan of trance with big stomping 4 to the floor bass kicks. IMHO, that original of Airwave is way way more cheesy than Ejeca's breaks version with Rozalla!

No problem with Rozalla's vocals on the Rank 1 remix for me - maybe that's because I remember it from the first time round in '91 before people got a bit too stuck in their own narrow genres. It might not be the easiest track to slip into the middle... See full review

Probably worth pointing out, due to a mastering fault there are a few seconds missing from the intro of The Flue Tune on that CD comp you mention, there's also a strange glitch around the 4 minute mark, plenty enough to throw a DJ off the mix! -... See full review

The Invisible Man's Flute Tune has a few seconds missing from the intro on this compilation and a strange skip at the 4 minute mark that would certainly throw a DJ off the mix. It's probably worth pointing out, despite the images of vinyl shown... See full review

Wasn't so keen on TW3, but the two releases prior to that were excellent, and this latest one is no exception - the Fiji rework is especially awesome. Glad I got in there quick, something tells me the price on this one's gonna fly in no time..

Not heard all the tracks in full yet, but if SUPERNOVA is anything to go by, then well.. it would appear Shinra's done it again, seriously intense, seriously awesome.. play loud. A++

Great track - well worth owning, but just a quick WARNING.. it comes in a PVC sleeve that will eventually ruin the vinyl - as it has done my copy. Google an effect called Out-Gassing and you'll see what i mean.... See full review

When it comes to quality electronica it really doesn't get much better than this. Every track's a winner, deep, intense, soulful, and all produced with exceptional attention to detail. I couldn't pick a favorite as they're all so good.

Proper classic this, played at plenty of free parties circa '91. Production's a bit gritty by todays standards, but a gem all the same - clearly a favourite of that old raver Noel Gallagher too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBKBl_s0NsQ ;-)

The whole EP is excellent - but Humidex, my god, what a tune! That'll be getting played out at the weekend for sure, although at the current price I'll be leaving the wax safely at home & playing the wav..

Good question, I'd like to think it's just a case of them not having heard it. I'm hardly a top DJ, but was lucky enough to have spotted it on Juno when it was first released, doubt i'd have discovered it otherwise. I've played Mental Disorder out... See full review

A seriously good EP - best bit of wax I've purchased so far this year. All worthy tracks, but Shinra's is especially awesome.

Really good release this - great artwork & nice musical vibe. Probably worth mentioning, some, if not all copies of are pressed on transparent red vinyl. If the label can confirm it would be worth adding it to the format section.

Agreed, the 7" mix blows all the others out of the water, such a shame you can't get a nice phat 45 cut of it on a 12"!

This is a worthy purchase for the Livewire mix alone - proper party tune, definitely does the original justice.

It's not often I come across tracks as good as this, Mandragora by CRC is quite simply one of the most beautiful pieces of electronica/techno I've heard in a long time. Think early '90s, B12, Nuron etc and you're on the right track, a very soulful... See full review
