This version of Tubular Bells is the same stereo remix that appears in the Boxed compilation.

The real duration of track B is 23:25 and a hidden aircraft motor recording is audible from 23:33 to 24:28. Another version looks similar to this release but doesn't contain this aircraft noise.

Why was the aircraft noise added at the end? Used to really annoy me!

Hi, yes - I have one as you describe but with D2 and a 2 in a circle after the main matrix and the QT3 which is actually at the other side. The Picture Records reference is also there as shown on the pictures above.

does anybody know there exists an original version of this uk picture disc?
i bought one on market with differnt runout matrix including D 1 on both sides between other initials as declared right here
+ on B-Side is written: Patent pending picture records Inc. - no duration time on it - thanks for your responses!
