I have totally different opinion than soukous25. In fact all Black-Red Obi 36AP.... 1979 Miles Davis represses by CBS/Sony are my favourite pressings and I compared them with first press UK, the cheapest represses from europe/made in holland and also with first press japan and 28AP represses. I compared 36AP represses with at least two other pressings listed above with Pangaea, Agharta, Dark Magus, Bitches Brew, Live-Evil and Get Up With It. I have to say that with Bitches Brew the difference is the biggest as UK and Europe pressings showed some distortion (they are in fact louder but distorted in mids) and in comparison to 28AP it was bassier, and compared to first press japan it was less dark yet with better mids and stereo-mix. Above that all 36AP and 28AP are impossible to deteriorate. The quality of pure vinyl (not recycled vinyl) is amazing. I've listened to 36APs for years.... a lot. Nothing deteriorates.

this is really an average sounding mix which says a lot about community ratings that tends to rate the music not the release quality. vinyl is fine but you wont find many details or a proper punch on this pressing. I dont feel the drums in here, terrible hollow sound and quiet, baseline in the rythmic section is also mostly in the back, they had clearly focused on mid and higher frequencies, all the groove is from distorted guitars and frontline pianos. I would say its rather disappointing mix.
