Something About You might just be the greatest house song ever made.

Dana's family are working on represses now, most of these are coming from the Guidance catalogue under Dana's moniker, Callisto. I know the family tried to make contact with the person who originally pressed this record. Whether or not these tracks ever get a repress I don't know, nor do I know the contents of future represses but fingers crossed we will see this record brought back so new audiences can play it! Until then, I think sellers really need to consider what they are doing with this record. I appreciate that it is rare but efforts really should be made to contact the family so digital recordings can be taken of this record so it is properly archived and if they choose, released. This is part of a legacy, and such a legacy should not be gatekept by a few people who want to make money of something they had nothing to do with in the first place.

Top tunes all around (especially something about you) but sound quality leaves something to be desired. Only looks like it's been pressed once, so is it just my copy that's a little iffy or has anyone else noticed this too?

although i am not so much into tech-house (- related drums). "spin hands" is a tune wort checking out. reminds me a bit of some of the driftwood early nyc stuff, but more dancefloor friendly. mellow synths + pads. top tune for the deep (after) hours or/and the early morning vibes. production from 97' but clearly not dated. wish i could buy this 12" one day.

i had the pleasure of speaking with this guy a few times online back in the late 90s on IRC chat.. and i gotta say this guy was the coolest mother fucker around.. truly felt connected talking to him and he did nothing but encourage me, a really cool heartfelt soul brother from another dimension.. hope he found his way back to the source .. thanks for the vibes DANA!
