In My Opinion who says that the carnegie hall is the best NY acoustic concert exception made for the Massey Hall has never listened to Dreamin' Man Live '92, at least if we are talking about the vinyl format.
Anyway totally different animal from any of the previous NY acoustic live records released before.
This one has a big concert hall reverb beefing and rounding up the overall sound, which was not the case of any of His past releases.
I personally appreciate the non-gatefold sleeve, but I honestly would have loved a pair of 180 grams vinyl lps.
All in all, totally a blast release, and for Me amongst the best of 2021 releases

Excellent sound, best live Neil release except for Massey. Set list is awesome too, packaging is the same as bootleg release. Great way to start of the series

Everyone seems to be commenting on the Euro pressing so I thought I’d add to the US, although the manufacturing is credited to the same location on both listings.

This is a very good pressing, although just a touch below in quality to Massey which seems to be the gold standard. The actual recording doesn’t feel as “immediate” and aggressive as Massey, but still excellent compared to most any other acoustic show you might buy. Neil’s voice is also in good order, but again not as intense as Massey. While the set lists have overlap, there’s enough difference between this and Massey to make it worthwhile and not feel repetitive.

I never bought Shakespeare because it’s too close in time and set to Massey, but this is superior to others like Cellar Door and Songs For Judy.
