I don't get this vinyl hobby.!?!?. this triple boxset cost less than most jazz albums and all three records are BEAUTIFULLY clean straight out of the inner sleeves. A quick destat and rocket blow and they are spot on. Great sounding. Very happy indeed

Just adding on to what's already been said. The way reissues should be done. Full and dynamic especially with the lows, good separation of sounds...makes it a far more substantial listen on vinyl. Proper packaging all around, a lyric and fact sheet/poster and a bonus LP...all for under $30. Absolutely fantastic.

As everyone else has said, this is a beautifullly presented and rich sounding pressing. Don't hesitate to get it if you're a fan of this album.

Anyone know if these sleeves are the type of PVC that cause outgassing? I don't get that beach ball smell but I'm not a scientist and would rather be safe

Best reissue I have in my collection. The vinyl has an incredible sound, better than the CD and the original issue of the LP; the packaging is very good and I very much appreciate the third LP. Worth all the money of it.

No surface noise, everything is pronounced and full, amazing mixing and mastering. I agree with all of the reviewers here. It's weird bc the Switched On vol. 1 sounds awful in comparison to this masterpiece. One of the best sounding records I own and a great way to show off a decent system and record player.

Just came to say that I am so happy that the entire side C was pressed for "Refractions In The Plastic Pulse". It's sounds so good it's silly.

Impeccably packaged, the only other time I've seen a record with such heavy-duty packaging is on my blue copy of Face Stabber by the Oh Sees. Labels perfectly centered, absolutely no noise, no misalignment of grooves. Exceptional bundle overall, these guys know their vinyl!

One of the coolest LPs I've had: the quality of the design and packaging is very impressive (plus, my copy came inside a nice resealable sleeve). The sound is also solid. One confusing thing to me though is why the album is listed here as 2-disk when there clearly is a third bonus disk in this re-issue.
