I'll be the first to discogs-review Karl Blau. Such a great song-writer, so eccentric but so gifted at crafting poppy and quirky tunes. Aside from releases on K, or collaborations (D+, Microphones), most of his stuff is put out in extremely low quantity and very hard to get ahold of. He's put out so much music, but at the time of this review, there are only 6 tunes on the discogs-youtube app. For his sake I hope he gets the attention he deserves, but for mine I hope his Kelp! releases don't skyrocket in price.

Once my wife signed me up for a KLAPS subscription for Christmas. Several months went by and nothing came in the mail. I wrote Karl a snail-mail letter, and a couple months later he wrote me back, threw in a couple albums and a gold-plated plastic chain necklace with a giant dove on it. How could I stay mad at the guy?
